    macbook pro intel
    fcp studio 2
    hvx200
    2 X P2 16gb cards

What camera mode are you in? Are you holding down MCR/Camera button to go into Firewire device mode?

Try downloading the latest codec from Panasonic. Your MBP has to have this software to recognize the cards We found some initial trouble when we went over to the new 16GB cards and the latest download fixed it. However we use a Power Book which takes the PCMCIA direct and thats how we download the cards. I assume the same bit off software supplied by Panasonic to mount a PCMIA card on a PB is required to mount your camera with the cards onboard, they should show on the desktop as if they where in a PCMCIA slot. If i get a chance I will try doing it that way and see if it mounts.

    Hope this helps
