  Final output format for projection using mix of P2, HDCAM, SD

  Working on a 90 minute doc that has 50 percent DVCPRO HD from the HVX 200, 20 percent HDCAM, 20 percent SD footage (mix of Beta and DV), 10 percent Super 16. Planning to project footage at film festivals and road shows. Theatrical release possible. Final output might be to HDCAM or D5. HDCAM SR might be out of the budget.
  Using Mac Pro 8 core with Kona card and a 3.5 TB RAID SCSI RAID.
  Any suggestions on final finishing format?

  1080i
  720p
  ProRez????
  Any advice much appreciated.

  I’d go 1080/24p HDCAM. That should be fine. There’s not going to be much call for 2K projection in the next year for festivals. Trick is how you upconvert….
