  • Export settings for DVCProHD 720p60 ?

Posted by Michael Greenawalt on June 13, 2007 at 10:58 pm

Hey Guys – I know someone will be able to shed some light here-

We shot DVCproHD 720p60 (some 60fps slow motion & some 24fps) – on the Panny HVX.

    Settings:

    FCP: 5.1.4

    Footage-
    Frame size: 960 x 720
    Vid Rate: 23.98 fps

    AV settings-
    Seq: DVCproHD 720p60

    Seq Settings-
    General: Framesize 720 x 480
    Aspect Ratio: NTSC DV (3:2)
Pixel Aspect Ratio: NTSC CCir 601/DV(720 x 480)
QT Video Settings: Compressor: DV/DVCPRO – NTSC Quality: 100%

When exporting using “quicktime conversion” – what would be the ideal “movie settings” ?

Bonus question: why does the DVCProHD compressor only allow “med” quality?

    Thanks guys !!!

Why are your sequence settings for NTSC DV? You can easily edit DVCPROHD 720p/60 in FCP.
