  AE string and Expressions

  Hi Everyone,
  I hope someone here can help.
  I have a string that needs to animate physically correct and realistically.
  I have set up a string with the puppet tool in AE CS6 and it uses nulls to control each pin.
  Its been working great so far, BUT.
  Sometimes I wish I had control of a group of those nodes,
  say I parent a group of pin nulls to a master null thats in the middle of my string.
  and I pull it say up, the parented nulls react to it naturally, meaning,
  the closer to the master null inherits its motion closely, while the farther from the master null it lessens the master nulls basic parameters.
  Say pos/rotation and scale.
  Attached is a pic of my AE file.

  Any help with this would be lovely!
  Ive been breaking my head with this and getting no where.
