Where can I buy a half-dozen or so of those little, black covers that fit over the 2 XLR inputs on the side of the camera?

I’ve already lost one and I can see it happening again. (FWIW, I try to make a habit of putting them in the mic bag when I attach the mic. I guess I didn’t this time.)

I can’t find the actual item in the owners manual so I don’t know the part number to request online. Jan Crittenden Livingston, can you help?

Do what I did, under the HVX right behing the lens is a nice flat spot take a piece of velcro(both sides of it)and apply it to the body of the HVX then tear the one side of the velcro off(not the side stuck to the body) put a small hole in it attache a small piece of string and attach the other end to the mic cap, then when you remove the cap it will just hang under the camera and you will never loose then again.

I appreciate it, but I’m not looking for an alternative – I’m looking for the actual part.

I’ll call Panasonic on Monday. Someone there will be able to track down the OEM’s.

    Thanks, though.

For the record, in case someone is doing a search through the posts for this item, with Jan C’s help I was given part number VJF1468 for the XLR Cap.

To order online, go to https://www.pasc.panasonic.com/epartr/ and enter the part number in the search field on the left.

As of today, they are $12.08 each. I ordered 3. Shipping charge is $6.95 for orders between $25 and $50.
