Ive recently been getting some huge errors in my P2 footage. Randomly (i haven’t been able to detect any patterns yet) a couple of shots will come out all messed up. The audio is recorded fine but the footage looks like its fast forwarding, like only half of the frames are recorded. This is happening 0-3 clips per card. Here is a sample:

I’m trying to figure out if its either my camera, my cards, my computer, or my final cut. Right now i’m thinking its my final cut (originally i thought it was final cut 5.1) because the clips look like this only after i import them into final cut. they play fine when i view them through the camera, through P2 log, and the P2 viewer in final cut. But when i import them the P2 viewer shows a half circle (instead a full cirle). and this problem started when i upgraded my final cut from 5.0 to 5.1.

Is anyone else experienceing this? please help!

Have you tried importing directly from the cards rather than going through P2 log? What are your OS and system specs?

I actually never tried importing it through P2 log, until you mentioned i, and it worked! So that means my camera and my cards are fine, so its gotta be my final cut, right? Is no else experienceing this glitch?
