Our FS-100 is garbling footage. For the most part the recorded takes are clean but with occasional digital hash in video and audio noise. The disturbance is lasting for from .5 to 2.5 seconds and then the footage returns to normal. Upon using the “repair clip” command in the FS-100 menu, the clip is still available for ingest to Final Cut, but there is no longer any video or audio information for the clip.

    This is a real dilemma.

Anybody out there seeing this issue?

    Any fixes?

It would be helpful to learn what firmware you were using and what settings in cam and the FS100.

Make sure you’ve updated to the latest firmware? Go to firestore.com to check for updates.
