CS 5.5 to CS 5 Conversion!
Posted by Vishal Pulikottil on April 6, 2013 at 5:28 pmHello!
I need a huge favour from someone here. I have a After Effects file in CS 5.5 but I need it converted to CS 5. It’s not too big a file. Here’s the link: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/98823782/Intro_Graphics%20copy%20%28CS5.5%29.aep
Thanks in advance! =)

“Good Answer!!! 🙂
Depending on how desperate you are, there is https://aescripts.com/pt_opensesame/ and there is PPro. If you have PPro CS5, see if you can import the CS5.5 AE. There is a loophole with using PPro to get earlier/later versions of AE to work via copy paste of assets of exporting to another version of AE.
I apologize but the specifics and relevant mechanics evade me at the moment. Hopefully, Google or a COW Search will be able to provide a more definitive answer from here.

May 17, 2014 at 11:09 amI was hoping you could please help me out with the same thing. I have a project due on Monday and my license expired on my cloud service. I have an older version of 5.0 that I can use to get this project completed. I also don’t want to renew my membership because I am going to the adobe max conference where the give you a free 1 year membership. Let me know if you can help me out….I would really appreciate it.
