time sensitive Scene File question
I there, I’m filming tonight with a HVX200 and a SPX900 in DVCPro50 16:9 30p. is there a scene file that matches these to cameras successfully? I like crushed blacks for this particular shoot and my last attempt was pretty close but I did have to bring the blacks down in FCP on the HVX200 my first try.
Also Is there a way of syncing the cameras’ timecode? I’m going to be recording this time to tape out of the firewire port of the HVX200 to a AJ-SD93.
But in the future I’d like to use the firestores I bought. I can’t seem to figure out how to sync a hvx with either a external deck or a firestore with a spx900.
Any thought?
And has anyone had any problem doing a multicam edit with footage shot on a firestore fs-100? I understand that they can record continuously for the full length of their alloted memory but they break the long takes up into 9minute chuncks. This seems confusing for FCP multicam edit.

The Scene files you will have to match by eye/chip chart as they aren’t the same. If you need to sync timecode and are using a deck, take the tc out of the SPX and put it into the deck and then set the deck to record external timecode.
