  24.98 clip?

  I have several clips in one content folder that were shot at 720 30pn all but one are 29.97.
  The second clip out of six says 24.98 the clip plays ok in FCP 5.1 import window but when I import it it’s only 51 seconds with fast speed video and partial audio. I have tried to put in a timeline and capture it back to the card to try to repair it but have been unsuccessful I followed Barry Greens procedure for this but the camera doesn’t seem to see the clip.

  I just loaded the clip into a system running FCP 5.0. And it worked fine.
  I think there is a bug in FCPs 5.1 importing of p2 clips.

  Are you on 5.1.2? If so, try unchecking the ‘remove redundant or advanced pulldown frames’ option in the preferences and reimport.
