  Whats the best diigtal tape format to master out an edited p2 video?

  that would be a client question.
  most HD deliverables have to be on HDCamSR or D5 but that varies according to the broadcaster.
  Currently Discovery is the only network I know of that is taking DVCPROHD masters.

  I concur with Gary…Client preference. But we master to D5 and HDCAM. SHoot 720p24, master 1080p 23.98.
