  P2 resolution

  Hi.

  I’m wondering which resolution comes to FCP if i import from P2 card etc.
  I’m not really familliar with P2 stuff so much but some my clients want to use it.

  I plan to use BM products as my video IO an they use uncompressed 1080 or 720 HD.
  Does FCP import give full size material or like HDV 1440 x X more native to 720 HD.
  As now my output would be SD then 720 would not be a problem.

  How does BlacMadgic see and monitor P2 stuff … as ntive P2 or it converts stuff on import in FCP.

  Alot of stupid questions and the just keep coming 🙂

  To monitor my DVCPRO HD footage (P2, Varicam…doesn’t matter) I use the HDTV 720p 8-bit 59.94 setting.
