    Hi all,

I just used the FS-100 for the first time yesterday and I’m running into a problem. I recorded in 720 24P on the HVX200 and after importing the footage into the FCP project, I noticed that the clips that ran long were each cut into 2:18:02 in length. I learned from recent research that this is due to the 2 gig limitation, which is fine. When I put the clips back to back on the timeline, however, there’s at least 1 frame missing. In fact, the timecode at the end of these clips and the beginning of the next is missing frames. The settings seem correct according to various documentation I’ve found and the clips need no rendering when put on the timeline.
I tried importing the footage without checking the box that instructs the FCP import to delete the duplicate frames and then droped those clips onto a 30fps timeline and it worked fine, but my clients want to edit ion a 24P timeline. Any ideas??? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Robert
