SD Card – What size do I need?
Posted by Leon Mills on June 12, 2006 at 6:24 pmHi,
Simple one, these scene files are just text files and if i remember from the manual there’s a limit how many you can have on a card, so what MB card do I need to buy i.e. there’s no point paying for a larger card that I wont use?
Thanks,
L.

I use a little larger card (one meg cards are not easy to find) then keep a couple of things on it.
I create a folder on the card while reading it on my computer and add alt setups and a backup of the P2 driver for my powerbook.
all of this and room to spare on 128mg SD card that I got for $8.99

June 13, 2006 at 6:02 pmCan anyone give me a better idea of how to use the SD card to replace scene files. I read the manual, and it seems a bit confusing. If you saved six scene files on the card will the HVX try to
import all six at once, or is there a way to select just one of those scene files?
Thank you. -

June 16, 2006 at 2:58 amIt always saves (and loads) all six scene files at once to the card.
You can save an individual scene file to internal camera memory, but when saving to the SD card it’ll save all six into one text file on the card (named SCENE1.TXT, for example) and it’ll also save them all into internal memory.
When loading one of the scene file packages, it’ll always load all six scene files from the card and also copy them into internal saved memory.
