  • Paste and match style?

    Hello,

I’ve been copying & pasting a load of text from one comp to another, and don’t want it to bring the text style with it (ie. in my destination comp, I already have a text box set up with some dummy text in, with the font/size/leading/etc all set up nicely, but pasting the text just brings the old settings).

Is there a secret hidden “paste and match style” that anyone knows of? I even tried making a Keyboard Maestro macro which is supposed to strip out the formatting, but it didn’t work.

Currently I’m having to paste the text into a plain text document and copy it out again – a real pain.

    Any thoughts, anyone?

    Thanks,

    Paul

Huh….odd – I just edited that Keyboard Maestro macro – I told it to repeat the “Filter Clipboard” command (to strip the styles) seven times, and now it works!
