  24p vs. 24pn or advanced

  What is the difference between tehse two modes and wich one shoudl I use if I am cutting a 24p project on FCP. Also my principle camera is varicam.

  24pN is great because it shoots exactly 24p to the P2 with no pulldown so an 8GB card can go up to 20 minutes. The other modes add pulldown which is not neccesary if you’re cutting native in FCP.
