  Batch Export for FLV’s

  No codec options within the Render Que for FLV??

  Is this right? How can you batch export FLV files directly from AE without using the Render Que?

  I can export to FLV one comp at a time….which is wasting too much time.

  Any other suggestions on FLV encoding batch stlyle…..FLIX and Squeeze work, yet you are taking an unecessary compression step.

  I don’t have an answer to your question but I have a question for you. What are you using to export to FLV from AE? I am running AE6.5 PRO on Mac OSX (tiger). I have tried to export to FLV but can’t find the option.

  I am not using a mac, but on my pc running AE 6.5 is available in FILE / EXPORT / FLV
  Only after you download and install the flash video exporter from Macromedia.

  Yeah, it comes with Flash Pro as well. So yes, you have to do a file/Export/FLV for one comp at a time and I don’t have any ratio/size attributes open to change.

  I was reading up on the New VP6 by On2 Tech about encoding to FLV and it was stated that it is prime to encode directly from source if possible. Well that would be AE or any NLE or something. Yet its set up to do batch encodes by third parties, until flash 8 is here finally. 🙂
