I have a P2 Store with 5 P2 cards of video transferred to it, but I am unable to get the drive to mount in OS X 10.4.4. If I put one of the P2 cards into the fr ont of the P2 Store, the card mounts to the desktop, but I still cannot get the P2 Store to mount. Both the cards and the drive are using Fat 32 and are visible in the OS X Disk Utility. I have been able to successfully access the P2 Store on an XP machine, but that doesn’t help me to bring the video into FCP, which also doesn’t see the P2 Store, but has no problems with the P2 cards. I was told that the drive would work with a G5 running OS X, but that doesn’t seem to be correct. Is it possible to reformat this thing as OS X extended without completely killing it?

    Thanks,

YOu have to hold down three buttons at the same time….three on the top…for two seconds. My producer brought one by my office tonite to show it off, and told me this fact (not in any manual BTW…stupid!). The three are CANCEL, the battery indicator, and HDD Cam (cap? the one on the upper right, above START). Hold those for 2 seconds until the indicator light turns orange. THEN it should work. And it will mount as several drives.
