  GPUSniffer does not see graphics card Mac

  I’m running a MacPro5,1 10.7.5 AE CS6 and I have an Ati 5770 installed in the Second slot and a GeForce GTX 285 installed in the first slot. When I run the GPUSniffer does not see the GTX 285. All that comes up is this…

  OpenGL Version: 2.1
  Has NPOT support: TRUE
  Has Framebuffer Object Extension support: TRUE
  Has Shading Language support: TRUE
  Started compilation of GLSL shaders
  Successfully finished compilation of GLSL shaders
  Ignoring SM4.0 check for cards on mac
  Return code: 3

  I have all the latest CUDA/Card Drivers

  I also run Resolve on this machine and it uses the other card. Any Ideas n how I can get After effects to see the GTX 285? Any help would be great thanks.

  Thanks for the reply but it seems like this is for laptops and not towers. I’m still googling as well.

  Which GPU are you using with your computer monitor? I’m not sure that AE can just use a card that isn’t “in use” like Resolve can.

  Using the ATI nothing is using the GTX 285.
