  List prices:

  HVX200 – $7000CAD
  4GB P2 – $760
  8GB P2 – $2575
  HVX200 + 2*4GB = $8520, giving a card cost of $760, no saving…
  HVX200 + 2*4GB = $11700, giving a card cost of $2350, $225 saving on a 8GB card…

  P2 Reader $2756, and still no word why this 5 slot card reader is so utterly expensive.
  60GB P2 store $2100

  I think, that with the current exchange rates, that’s quite aggressive pricing.

  Nice — those numbers look to be almost identical to US pricing, once you factor in the exchange rate. Glad to see our northern neighbors are getting competitive deals!

  Me too. I just called my dealer to confirm his pricing. It dropped enough that I was able to upgrade my order from one 4GB card (all my budget would allow) to the 2 x 4GB bundle… and I still saved several hundred dollars.

  Those are very good prices, I was ballparking it at least at 9000$ for the camera only. I getting more and more interested in this camera.
