Is P2 SD already death?
Posted by Ivan Kacer on October 5, 2005 at 3:34 pmI know, this can be a bit sensitive, but it seems to me all interest about P2 is focused towards HVX 200. What about SD family of 2/3inch P2 camcorders?

October 5, 2005 at 10:34 pmThat is correct, especially if they know Infinity is comming soon.
In this case we should expect Varicam and Pana400 to be on P2 soon if they want to compete with Infinity. -

I know we showed a VariCam Mockup at NAB but the camera was not fleshed out as far as specs are concerned. We should know a little more this coming NAB.
Best,
Jan

What deck do you have? If you have the AJ-HD1200A, you can record from the HVX to the deck thru firewire.—————–
