Is P2 SD already death?
I know, this can be a bit sensitive, but it seems to me all interest about P2 is focused towards HVX 200. What about SD family of 2/3inch P2 camcorders?

Very few people would now invest in new standard definition equipment.

That is correct,especially if they know Infinity is comming soon.
In this case we should expect Varicam and Pana400 to be on P2 soon if they want to compete with Infinity. -
Standard Def P2 is alive and doing outstandingly well. We just had a record month in sales between the SPX800 and the new SPC700.

I know we showed a VariCam Mockup at NAB but the camera was not fleshed out as far as specs are concerned. We should know a little more this coming NAB.
