  Changing layer size

  Rookie question…

  I have six layers of video that I want to make square, so I can apply Box Creator Lite. Question is…how do I change the shape of a layer. Does masking a Layer imply a change to the shape of the layer, or is it simply obscuring pixels on a layer that stays the same size? If the latter, how do I “crop” the layer size to make it square?

  Masking actually crops the layer in the Comp Window.
