  Probably simple solution: AE not updating during changes

  Sorry bout the bad title, but here is the problem and i bet it is a simple preference but i cant find it.

  When i change any value(via scrolling) or drag the playhead along the title i am not getting any updates. Ie the comp window only changes when i stop. And if for example i scale an object by clicking and dragging the value it doesnt update during the dragging, only when i stop on a value does the object change its scale. Normally it does a low res update during the change.

  I dont even know what i have changed?

  Not a dumb question. It’s hard to find the right search terms for this.

  Just click the first button in the group of five at the top of the timeline window to enable dynamic updates.
