Copying an alpha channel
Hi
I am trying to create an effect similar to the ones seen in this Sting video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLVq0IAzh1AThe elements I have are the two different background layers, (Same location, but shot twice so they look different) and then a character walking on a green screen.
This is coming harder than I thought it would. I’ve keyed out the character walking, and I just need to copy the shape that’s been keyed out onto one of the background layers so that the second background is revealed in the shape of the characters silhouette.
Kind of difficult to explain, but I think I am just wondering how to copy this key and apply it to another layer.

Check out Track Mattes in the online help:
That would be the most straightforward method. Most alternatives would involve pre-composing.
