  Solid Rotation Issue

  Good morning,

  I’m working with AE CS6, and trying to create a simple rotation of a solid. However, during the rotation, this happens:

  I’ve tried to troubleshoot it, and even recreate a new comp, and can’t figure out why it’s doing that. Any advice?

  I was able to solve the problem by switching it to a 3D layer, but am curious if anyone knows why this exists as a 2D layer?

  Ff you can upload the .aep project with just that problematic solid, I would try to find out what Exactly the problem was?
