  16bit comp strangeness

  We recently switched to a new G5 PowerMac (a dual 2.7, with 4.5G of RAM, OS X Tiger), and now the 16bit mode in AE has somehow gone mad. Switching a composition to 16 bits makes the colors go all weird, and it also creates vertical stripes in the comp window. Can’t use 16 bits at all now. Anyone else encountered this? What to do?
