  After Effects version 6(not CS6)standard edition+Windows XPpro SP3

  Hi All, My After Effects version 6 standard edition was working fine on Windows XPpro SP2 but I can only get it to run under SP3 if it’s in compatibility mode set for Windows 2000 – but I think this is giving me problems with rendering Quicktime as it keeps crashing on me when I choose Quicktime as the render format. Does anyone happen to know: 1. if a patch exists to get AE6 to run under Windows XPpro SP3. 2. which version of Quicktime works reliably with AE6(version number and also type [i.e. the free player download version verses the Quicktime Pro option]). Any help would be very welcome. Anthony Jones

  The software is pretty much 10 years old. Either upgrade or deal with it.
