  Renderengins

  Hi, I just got two G5 Renderengines and have some problems configurating.
  Not the renderengines but my After Effects Projects because of missing videoplugins.
  I just dont know how to install them probably, maybe you can help me.
  I am mostly working in FCP capturing with Kona2 and export my Quicktimes with the AJACodec
  for finishing in After Effects. But on my Renderengins i dont have the
  Aja Codecs installed so it renders just black images…I thought it would help
  to install the aja software but it didnt. Do i have to install FCP on my renderengines?
  I am sure there must be an other way maybe to install the Codecs for the Quicktime Player
  on the Renderengines? But where do i find them and how shall i install???

  Uuups…I just recognized that the Quicktimes the renderengines dont like
  are titled as Final Cut Pro Documents.So that After Effects on the Renderengines
  accepts them i need to install FCP on them too? Installing the Aja Kona software worked the codecs are available now, but didnt solve my problem;(

  thanks for your response, yes sure i could use an other codec in future. The problem now is that the whole project is allready built up with this codec… so guess i will need to install fcp?
