  Particular Layer emitter and light Emitter

  Hi, creative cow members & Staff.

  I got a question regarding Particular and the Emitter options.

  More accurate the Light Emitter and the “Layer Emitter”

  First i’ll explain what i want to archieve.

  I want to archieve a smoky effect like this one:

  as u can see it’s a good smoke effect but that one is linked to a light.

  This is the result of linking the same parameters to a layer emitter.

  That’s nothing close to what i want, i want the same smoke as above but coming out of my layer emitter instead i get thoese weird particles.

  Is it related to the size? this is the layer emitter i’m using since i want the particles to emit from my layer i just masked the layer and used it as an emitter.

  How could i archieve the same smoke as above coming out of my render.

  EDIT: this is the video with that smokey particles (from the layer emitter) as u can see its not like the light emitter smoke i made but it’s the same parameters : (
