  Project Versioning

  I’ve been working in After Effects for many years now, but one thing that I’ve never developed a clean system for is project versioning. I’ve got a stellar system going for every other form of post prod except AEX.

  When I have to make big revisions I start creating multiple project files, which seems excessive (compared to clean systems you can devise in an NLE). But it also makes sense due of the issue that arise with precoming.

  I ask because “after effects” and “versioning” doesn’t produce incredibly helpful results from google. So I thought I’d throw the question out here:

  What is your After Effects workflow for client revisions and versioning?
