    Hey team.

I’m creating a text animation template. In the animation, multiple layers of coloured text assemble to reveal only one coloured layer of text.
In my screenshot attached, there is a white edge appearing around my navy blue text.

Is there a way to shrink the width of the proceeding layers of text by one or two pixels? Is there a technique similar to “choke matte” in After Effects?
I feel like this is a simple fix, but I just cannot suss this problem out.

    Many thanks in advance!
    Andrew.

You could try “Matte Magic” in the Keying category of filters. It has a Shrink parameter which is basically an alpha choke.

    You little beauty!
Thank you Dirk. The “Matte Magic” filter was exactly what I needed. I reduced succeeding layers of text by 1.7px and the edges receded altogether.

    Cheers!
