  Picture becoming pixelated

  So I have been wanting to try an old tv effect in motion 4. But when ever I bring in a picture of an old tv (which I would then mask etc.) the picture becomes very pixelated. I have tried 5 different tvs and nothing seems to work. If you have any solutions please let me know ASAP.
