  Clock Wipe

  I know there is a clock wipe already inside of FCP X but looking for advice on how to create one from scratch. How easy is this to accomplish. I am thinking I first need to create a circle, then animate masks. Not sure if they should be triangles or some other shape. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  P.S. I am wanting to learn how to create my own custom transitions. I have already built a diamond wipe and a rather interesting cross dissolve, both were easy. Wanting to build more complex ones.
