  Motion 4 and Mavericks

  Hi

  Does anyone know if Motion 4 (yes version 4) will work with Mavericks? And is supposed to work with the new OSX Apple is releasing soon for Macs?

  1. Yes, it works just “fine”.
  2. Why would you want to rack your brain over those issues instead of just simply getting 5?? 4 isn’t even 64bit!

  I don’t like version 5….no live fonts, and less templates than version 4.

  Also, I don’t use, and have no intention of ever buying FCPX….I am using Premier Pro CS6 at home with Mavericks and want something to create titles.

  Okay. I won’t debate whether Live Type is just cheesy or not, but if you have the old templates installed you’re free to continue to use them. So technically 5 has more templates. Not to mention sites such as https://www.motionvfx.com/store,motion,3,58,1,1.html .

  But then I don’t understand why you would be using MOTION in conjunction with PPro of all things either. Especially since in conjunction with FCP X is when Motion’s true brilliance and power starts to shine. Oh well. To each his/her own, as they say.
