  Aspect Ratio

  Hi all,

  My client has done a shoot where people are walking around the studio carrying white 2ft by 2ft polystyrene boxes with tracking markers. I have to track these boxes and eventually put 16×9 interview and graphic footage on the sides, there are other people walking past the boxes so there is an amount of roto to do but thats another story. I’m doing the tracking in Mocha AE 3.2.1 and need to comp in Motion 5.
  The track is a corner pin (perspective changes and so). Obviously the footage is now squashed and looks wrong. I have tried various work arounds that sort of work in Motion and Mocha but all very time consuming.

  Any help on this would be great!

  Why not simply link the footage to the tracked object and scale and crop as needed? That way the original aspect ratio shouldn’t at all be affected.
