Hi there! So I have a 20 min long fcp sequence that is dv with loads of motion graphics over top. What would be the best export setting to use to get this to something like drop box or vimeo? Right now, exported as pro-res 422 HQ quicktime its about 8 gigs- yikes! Basically, I need to shrink this guy down so I can share it, other than snail mailing a hard drive. Thanks!

For vimeo take the big ProRes you exported and bring it into Compressor. In the settings area go to Other Workflows, Web, Web videocast and then pick one of the H.264 settings. Drag it onto your clip and then go to the inspector and click on the Encoder button, chose Video Settings and change the Data Rate to 5000. and that should do it. All of my videos on Vimeo where compressed with those settings and I think they look good: vimeo.com/stephensmitheditor
