  Editing camera screws up everything else…

  I’m a bit new to Apple Motion. (using Apple Motion 4). I have one camera in one 5 second section of my video I’m putting together (full vid is 1min 30)– and at this point, it’s causing me to want to rip my hair out.

  All I wanted was for it to sweep (I have a behavior set that makes it rotate)… and zoom in on a certain portion of text. That’s it. But any time I think I’ve got the sequence perfect, I then find that all the stuff I’d designed and animated before this blip of time, as well as stuff after, is totally screwed up. Things are too zoomed in, placement of stuff is all wrong.

  Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve attempted recreating this camera and adjusting everything about 6 times now today but nothing is working. I’m tired of spending so much time on this 5 second movement and I’m about to scrap the camera altogether.

  Have you played with the Framing behavior? It is really amazing. I’m sure Mark Spencer has a tutorial on how to use it somewhere.
