  Masks aligning to weird yellow lines??

  This is my first time ever even touching Apple Motion… but i’m blurring footage using masks in the program and its annoyingly aligning the masks to these weird yellow lines. How do i make it let me freehand the position of the mask? is there a way to turn these annoying lines OFF?? someone please help!!!!

  Those are dynamic guides. View > Snapping or “N” to toggle them on and off.

  What Mark says obviously, but you can also temporarily disable them by holding down the Command key.

  Handy tip to know if you also work in FCP X where they can be quite irritating sometimes.
