    Hi everyone,

I have a text alignment issue when trying to include that parameter in a Rig.

The Rig is to change the title of a title card via a popup widget. every time I open up the project the first title I see is centered. When I select another one via the pop up the next titles are off center despite their alignment button showing that they ought to be centered.

So far the only way I have been able to achieve the desired changing of text without it being off center is by having one layer per text and switching theyr opacity on an off via the widget.

To make matters worse if I manually change the alignment button when testing the project it results in Motion crashing.

Is this a known bug? or, more likely, am I doing something wrong?

Sounds like a bug. Try changing the text layout from Type to Paragraph and see if that works.

    Thanks for the tip.

I just tried that and got the same result…

as soon as the next snap shot is selected the alignment is off. Using Paragraph it shifts the text to the left though the alignment button indicates centered. If alignment is part of the widget, trying to remove it from it results in a crash. Pushing another alignment button also…
