I am finding this hard to explain so let me know if I need to clarify anything.

I am trying to create a path that starts going from left to right then goes into Z space and then back forward to the original plane. From a top view it would look something like this __/__ . I started making a straight line, going to the top view and adding in points, but I cannot change those point locations in Z space. Only on the orignal plane X and Y axis.

Is it possible to do this?

Shapes can only exist in 2-D planes in Motion – the plane can be oriented in any way, but all the shape points must be on the plane (they only have X and Y coordinates). However, a motion path can have points anywhere in X, Y, or Z. So there’s usually a way to accomplish what you want to do with another method.

Sorry, you can’t change a control points Z position. If it is a line or something you will need to make more then one. Hope this helps and best of luck.
