Hi all. I’m stumped over one particular problem in Motion 5. I have a particle emitter in a group. The emitter generates its particles and then the group that contains the particles animates off the screen. The problem is, though the emitter follows the group and animates offscreen, the particles remain in place. Why don’t the particles, which are included in the group, follow the motion of the group? How can I work around this? Does this make sense? Anyone have any ideas?

I’d need to see the project, but first, have you tried adjusting the “attach to emitter” parameter in the cell controls?

Darrr! Of course. I didn’t even think of that. That solved the problem. That control was a little deceiving because it’s a slider and not just an on/off switch. Thanks for the help.
