  After effects font style in Motion

  Hi all,

  I am using Motion 3 and my client wants a text effect similar to this:

  The problem is this is an after effects style. I have already used my after effects free trial and can’t afford to buy it just for this. I also (for some reason) don’t seem to have any of the live fonts in Motion and no longer have the install discs to reinstall it.

  Can anyone advise me how / where I can get this style of text animation for Motion 3?

  You should be able to match this using a combination of Text animation behaviors (which are pretty similar to what’s available in AE anyway).

  Try using Substitute In/Out which will give you the random letters jumbling before they settle.
