  How to achieve a beatcounter in Motion

  Hello!

  I’m working on a project where I need to know the beats equivalent to the current location of the cursor. e.g a musictrack has 120BPM and my project is setup with 25fps. If I move the cursor to ‘0:1:30.00’ I would like to have an insert saying ‘46.1.1’ or when the cursor is at ‘0:0:00.00’ it should say ‘1.1.1’.

  1) I was thinking about tweaking the timecode generator, but without success. 🙁
  2) A video with alpha with a given length, and prepared for 120BPM @25fps. This is of course very unflexible.

  Is there a way to adapt the timecode generator to display beats instead just time and frames?

  Any other suggestions to achieve this beatcounter are welcome!!
