  Show flight path

  Trying to do the classic flight path effect with Motion 4. I am new to this. I *can* create a map of a road and have a symbol follow it fine. I can also show a symbol of an airline take off in one city, and land in another, simply by hiding my geometry line/figure. What I’d like to do is continue to display the trail of where the flight started… show the line full once the airline symbol has reached it’s destination. I know this is simple for most but I can’t figure it out. Thanks!

  Hi Tim,

  All you need to do is use the line you’ve drawn for the symbol to follow. Make it visible and apply a Write On behaviour to it, then adjust the duration of the behaviour to suit.
