  • Adding image to template sequence on Motion 4

    Hello,

Hopefully this is something very obvious but unfortunately I’m not very good at motion in general. I mostly work in audio post but sometimes have to work in other video areas and so I’m a little stuck.

I’m working off the template ‘decode-open’ and want to add an image (either psd or jpg) into the existing template which fits into the current lighting and camera setup. I’ve tried importing in many different ways but the image just doesn’t come up at all. I’ve tried adding it into a group, creating a new group and putting at different points in the various layers but still nothing.

Apologies if this is such an amateur question but any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Try dragging it from the File Browser directly to the Canvas – that will add it to the focal plane of the camera.
