Make some words BOLD in text layer
IS it possible to make some words bold in a text layer while keeping the rest of the words normal? When I try to embolden one or two words, Apple Motion changes all the words in the layer. The only way I’ve been able to figure out is to duplicate the layer, change that layer’s properties to bold, and delete the words that I don’t want to be bold.
This is somewhat time consuming since changing the letters to bold slightly changes their size, and I have to go in and move each emboldened word around to get them to fit into space with the other words. Is there a faster way to do this?

Sure you can. Just select the letters you want to change – you can change the font, style, color, whatever of the selected glyphs in a text layer.

Thanks for the response.
I must be missing something here. When I select letters in a layer and change anything: size, font, color, etc. It changes the entire layer, not just the letters I highlight.

Select the text you want to alter in the Canvas NOT the inspector and then the changes will only effect the selected text. Hope this helps and best of luck.
