  Missing Motion files in transferred FCP Project

  Hi,

  I am new to motion.
  I have a project in FCP which I need to edit on another machine.

  I have used Media Manager to put the project onto an external hard drive-all ok so far, but when I look at the timeline on the other computer, the motion files in the sequence are totally missing. There is just a red and white checkerboard in its place. Reconnecting the media jut brings up black.Both Motion versions are version 4.

  Please help!

  You need to move your Motion files separately.

  Thanks Mark,

  I have tried that as well-it still can’t seem to connect the media.

  Any suggestions would be gratefully received!
