  Generator to FCPX with audio possible?

  I posted this over on the apple forum as well:

  Is it possible to send a Motion Generator over to FCPX with an embedded audio track? For example I create a Bars and Tone Generator. The source file is a 10 second QT movie with an audio track. I can send this over to FCPX with no problem. However the generator’s audio track is inaudiable when laying this into the FCPX timeline.

  No, Motion project files do not include audio.

  You’d bring the audio track itself into X and realign there with your generator on a Project timeline.
