any online videos about creating scroll credits in motion 3
i’m up against a serious deadline and i’m trying to create scrolling credits in motion 3 – i’ve looked at lynda tutorials and they’re worthless for this – the guy doing them is no larry jordan and there’s nothing on how to do it – i tried using keyframes on the y axis but the play function just gave me this chopy blurry jumping thing – every video i’ve seen online is about motion 4’s wonderful new scrolling function which does me no good – anyone know anyplace on the web that just gives a step by step method for creating good-looking scrolling texts in motion – i just want white letters on a black background that don’t flicker and look like garbage when you play them on a screen other than your computer

Just write the text and place it in its own group. Add a mask to said group with a feather then just animate the text upward.
Ps you cant add the mask to the text itself it needs to be on the group.
