  Exporting Timeline With Audio

  Hi,

  I am trying to export the 35 second timeline for a dvd menu I have created in Motion – but when the dialogue box opens for me to select preferences, the ‘export audio and video’ option is greyed out, and unselectable. What haven’t I done to make sure that I can select this option, which I need?

  Under the Project Pane F5, please find audio tab, then add the audio file to that tab. You will then see a green line in a mini timline. Place the audio where it needs to be, probably at 0 frame. Then go to export and it should work.

  Thanks – the audio was there, no problem. Just below the playhead it said ‘group 1’ all along the timeline, on a darker blue background. I got rid of this somehow, and it did the trick. Don’t understand it, but there you are…
